DT Call

***This post is pinned until the DT Call ends...please scroll down for newer posts***

Happy New Year!

I bet you're surprised to see a post from us mid-week, but we couldn't wait until Saturday...and the New Year seems as good a time as any to start 'anew'!

We lost a couple of DT members last year, so we're looking for some new DT members to join our Penny Black family.

You don't need to have any previous design team experience...but you should have an active blog, as you'll be required to publish your project for our monthly challenges on your personal blog, and join our friendly design team blog.
We are predominantly cardmakers, but would welcome crafters that use their Penny Black products on other projects.
You will need to be able to comment on some of the entries to our challenges (currently 1 in every 10 entries for each design team member), help select guest designers, and choose your favourite entry from each challenge.

If you would be interested in being considered for our design team, please leave a link to your blog with the linky on this post...we would also love it if you'd play along with our current challenge!

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

PBSC January - Anything Goes...Optional 'Something New'...More Inspiration!

Happy Saturday everyone!

We're back with some more inspiration for our current challenge, and the announcement of the DT favourites from last month's challenge!

Here are the DTs favourite projects from December's 'Anything Goes' (Optional 'Sparkle & Shine') challenge:

Helen's favourite: #13 - Helen F
P1080439 (3)
Helen says: Helen's 'no line watercolouring' looks stunning with this gorgeous stamp...and I love the splattered inks over the top!

Lorraine's favourite: #21 - Viv
Lorraine says: Viv has made this pretty poinsettia really jump off the card, and the subtle background sets it off beautifully.

Lynda's favourite:  #12 - Bonnie
Lynda says:  Love the simplicity and design on this card.  The limited color scheme really kept it classy.

Natalie's favourite: #7 - Maura
Natalie says: I love the classic wintry scene of this Christmas card, the blended colours of the sky are simply beautiful.

Sylvie's favourite: #38 - Amelia B
HomemadePunch
Sylvie says: Love the bright colours & a fabulous image!
Congratulations ladies - please grab our 'PBSC Favourite' badge for your blog!

There were no Guest Designer entries on last month's challenge, but if you're interested in joining us for a future challenge, please add 'GDT' after your name on your entry to this month's challenge.
